Laura grew up in Evanston, Illinois. She earned her BA in Communication & Culture and Criminal Justice from Indiana University. After graduating in 2003, she headed west to Jackson Hole for the summer. Falling in love with the area, Laura stayed on for the winter working as a ski instructor at JHMR, where she was employed for the next three winter and summer seasons. Next was a brief stint in real estate sales at the Snake River Sporting Club before accepting a direct client service position at the Community Safety Network in 2006. She worked there for eight years and continues to serve as a volunteer advocate.
Laura transitioned from CSN to Administration with St. John’s Health until her daughter was born in 2021. For the last two years, Laura has been working with C&C HomeServices and most recently, Akin & Hedges Realty. She, her husband Tom, and their two children, Bill and Ellie, reside in East Jackson.
